Good Morning friends! Ms. Annie and Ms, Erika were happy to see our friends today! They saw some big smiles from their students. Ms. Erika and Ms. Annie’s lesson today was the Rainforest. Ms. Erika had a rainforest background and her dog agreed that it was nice to see the rainforest. 

Ms. Annie read the book, No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. Make sure we don’t jump on the bed or mommy will call the doctor.

Ms. Erika and Ms. Annie are happy to see everyone this morning! Ms. Annie started with a dinosaur story, How do Dinosaurs Go To School by Jane Yolen. 

Next, Ms. Erika talked about several dinosaurs like the stegosaurus and T-rex. Also in your pack are dinosaur footprint cutouts. This is a lacing exercise, and the fun part is that you can wear these and stomp around the house like a dinosaur. Have fun today, but don't scare mom and dad!

Good Morning! We are happy to see everyone today! Ms. Annie and Ms. Erika have special lessons today. Ms. Annie sang the good morning song, and Ms. Erika told a dinosaur counting story, Five Enormous Dinosaurs. Next, Ms. Annie showed them some fossilized artifacts and mammoth hair. The children were amazed how big the a size of the tooth was.

Good morning friends! Today is a new week of fun lessons about dinosaurs! We will be learning some fun dinosaurs names, stories, and activities. Ms. Annie started with introducing us to the dinosaur museum. We're happy to see everyone! Ms. Erika started class with a visit to the zoo. She played a felt story song about zoo animals. The children were able to name the animals and their sounds. Can you make animal sounds? What sound does a seal make? How about a snake? What sound does a lion make? What other animal sounds do you know?

Craft Time May 27

Here are the projects Ms. Annie made today with the toddlers. 


To make the giraffe, you will need a toilet paper roll or a paper towel roll. Draw the face on the construction paper and glue it to the roll. Cut little squares and have your toddler glue on the giraffe's body.

Good Morning! Ms. Annie and Ms. Erika are happy to see everyone! Ms. Erika started with the story and song, Old McDonald. Our friends joined Ms. Erika as she sang the song of the animal sounds.

10: 00 Music Time with Mr. Taylor

It's a wonderful day for Music this Friday! Mr.Taylor had some fun songs for us! He played the Good Morning song, Brown Bear Brown Bear, Shake Our Wiggles Out, Brush Your Teeth, and some other fun songs. Today, Mr. Taylor showed a new instrument - the Jaw Harp. Good Morning Friends! We had a fun morning lesson with Ms.Annie and Ms. Erika. To start the morning, Ms. Erika did the calendar. Next, Ms. Annie did a felt story book with transportation. We are happy to see everyone! Ms. Erika had planned several art projects today for our little ones. First, Ms. Erika made a hot air balloon using paper plates, some paint and stickers. If you don't have paper plates, you can cut a circle. Dab a few dots of paint on your circle; and after it dries, add you stickers. Add a rectangular piece of paper conencted by two strips of paper to make the basket.

Happy Tuesday to all! Our toddler teachers were happy to see everyone this morning! This week’s topic is transportation. Ms. Erika showed our friends the different kinds of transportations. She sorted the kinds transportation that go on land, water, and air in a sensory box. You can make the box at home too.

Good morning friends! Ms. Annie started with the song, The More We Get Together. It was nice to see everyone today. Seems like some of our friends brought some of their stuff toys/ babies for circle. 

Ms. Erika did a felt story about mommies and their babies. Make sure to give mom a big hug and greet them on Sunday for Mother’s Day!

Good morning friends! For today’s art, we are going to make something special using our fingerprints. Ms. Erika demonstrated using painting our fingers using markers and making a fingerprint around the circle. You can use paint or other materials for coloring.

Aloha! It’s Friday, the first of May! We had a fun time in music class. We had a few friends who brought their own musical instruments; we had a harmonica, maracas, and ukuleles. Today, Ms Annie has a great craft for us. We are making a school of fish. But our fish will be a fish family. This a family activity that will require an adult to construct and the entire family to play with to make a school of fish. In our calendar, we have a short video showing why fish have to swim in groups. Happy Earth Day! We have a wonderful art project today to celebrate Earth Day! We are making a tree using recycled materials and materials from our nature walk. 

OUR GIVING TREE

MATERIALS:
Cardboard
Leaves
Flowers
Glue
Scissors and paper


STEPS:
To draw the branches, trace your child’s hand on a piece of cardboard. (cereal box, old folders, back of notepads, or any thick card stock)

Today’s art presentation with Ms. Mary are fun crafts to do for Earth Day which will be on April 22, 2020. She asked the children what are the things they can do to help the earth. The children raised their hands and gave answers like plant a tree, recycle plastic bottles, water plants, plant in the garden, reusing other resources, reduce use by not letting the water run for a long time. Ms. Erika started with the calendar, and Ms. Annie followed by singing the dinosaur song with felt pieces. Next, Ms.Annie recited the nursery rhyme, Hey, Diddle, Diddle. Craft Time April 15

Toddler Craft Time 10:00 a.m.

Ms. Annie had a really fun craft today. She demonstrated how to make Five Little Ducklings stick puppets. All you needed was a duck illustration or a printout online. Color or paint the ducks, glue them on a construction paper or a sturdy paper, and glue them on popsicle sticks. To create the pond, color or paint the back of a paper plate, pizza cardboard backing, or cardboard, blue. You can also use blue construction paper or felt. Have fun!

Ms. Annie reviewed the colors the children learned this week and last week, did a color matching work, and a super fun color mixing experiment. Toddler Teachers, Ms. Annie and Ms. Erika created a cute craft for the toddlers. They asked each family to prepare materials for the Bunny craft. With the help of their parents, the children were able to follow the step by step directions given. The result were adorable bunnies!
