10:00 Toddler Class
Good Morning everyone! We were happy to see everyone today! Ms. Annie played peek-a-boo with the children. Ms. Erika sang the song, The More We Get Together”. Then, Ms. Annie read Llama Llama Mad at Mama by Anna Dewdney.
Ms. Erika reviewed the emotions sign language with the children. Next, she showed them the emotions matching cards. You can make your own matching cards at home by printing out the emotions printout and placing the cards in a box. Matching work is a great pre-reading activity you can do with your little one. We have some matching cards in our toddler page. All you have to do is print it out twice, cut, put in a box or container, then viola, your child can choose this work during "work time".

Today’s lesson was about Reptiles. Ms. Monique showed the parts of the turtle. Don’t forget to color the parts of turtle printout. Can you name them all? She showed examples of different kinds of reptiles. Can you name other reptiles? After this, Ms. Monique did a turtle felt story. Ms. Gabby made a special felt turtle for this lesson.
She also made a turtle snack made out grapes, apples, and goji berries. Yum!
We had a wonderful lesson today! Don’t forget that tomorrow will be music day with Mr. Taylor. Please join us at 10:00!
