10: 00 Music Time with Mr. Taylor

It's a wonderful day for Music this Friday! Mr.Taylor had some fun songs for us! He played the Good Morning song, Brown Bear Brown Bear, Shake Our Wiggles Out, Brush Your Teeth, and some other fun songs. Today, Mr. Taylor showed a new instrument - the Jaw Harp. This is instrument is called the jaw harp because you play it using your mouth. It makes a reverberating sound similar to a didgeridoo. To listen to the sound, click here. Join us again next week for some more fun music time with Mr. Taylor. Happy Friday everyone and keep on singing and playing music!

Hola! Ms. Adriana had a wonderful Spanish lesson today about the farm and farm animals. What farm animals can you name in Spanish? Our friends were able to practice saying farm animals in Spanish. To get the printout and information about today's lessons, check out our Spanish page. Ms. Adriana also read the book, Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin and Illustrated by Betsy Lewin. You can visit the publisher's page for more information about his book.

After the story Ms. Adriana had a fun song - Old McDonald in Spanish. Our friends had a great time singing and dancing to the music! Next, she asked some questions about farm animals. Our students were able to choose: vaca, pollo, oveja, puerco, y polito.

Ms. Adriana added some math activities our students can do at home! You can find these in our Spanish page. Keep practicing your Spanish words! Have a fun weekend!
