10:30 and 11:00 Spanish Time with Ms. Adriana! (Primary Class and Kindergarten Class)

Hola Todos! Como Estan! Buenos Dias! Ms. Adriana started with the good morning song and some stretches today. Did you know last Thursday was Earth Day, Dia del Planeta! Ms. Adriana showed us a slide show about our Earth and read The Earth Book by Todd Parr. The Earth is the planet we live in. In order to protect it, there are things we can do to help our Earth. She asked the children what we can do to help take care of the Earth.

Earth Words:

Planet - Planeta
Animals - Animales
Forest - Bosque
Oceans - Oceano
Mountains - Montanas
Earth - Tierra
Recycle - Reciclar

Ms. Adriana showed how to make a fun maze made out of recycled materials.

Shoe Box Maze

Get an old lid from a shoe box. Draw lines on the box that resembles a maze. Take your old straws and glue them on the box or if you don’t have straw, roll up some paper from your junk mail. Glue them or tape them around the lines you made. Let it dry. Take a ball and let it go around the maze. Check our website’s Spanish Page for more information about today’s lessons.

Don’t forget to email us your pictures for the yearbook. Thank you, and we will see you again next week for Spanish Time! Adios!
