TODDLER PROGRAM

Students who enroll in the Toddler Program must meet the minimum age of 18 months. Enrollment in the Toddler Program is based on availability. It is recommended to place your child on a wait list to ensure a spot. Students in this class typically stay until 3 years of age.  However, based on each child’s progress and maturity, he or she may be qualified to enter the Primary program as early as 2 ½ years old.  Toddler students have the option of enrolling part time or full time.

PRIMARY PROGRAM

Students who enroll in the Primary Program must meet the minimum age of 3 years old and be potty trained.  However, based on each child’s progress and maturity, he or she may be qualified to enter the Primary class by recommendation of the Toddler teacher or based on maturity and progress.  Enrollment is open throughout the year, depending on availability.  The Primary program is 3 years long. Typically, students stay at 3, 4, and 5 years old with the same teacher. Upon completion of the 3-year program, students will become eligible to attend the Elementary Program.  Transfer students will need to submit a progress report.  Primary students have the option of enrolling part time or full time. Third year students are required to attend the full time program to meet Kindergarten eligibility.

ELEMENTARY PROGRAM

Students who enroll in the Elementary Program must meet the minimum age of 6 years by September 1st or 1st grade status. An admission assessment test will be given upon enrollment. Students from the Primary program are given priority status on enrollment. Students who have not attended a Montessori program will need to submit a letter of recommendation from his or her previous teacher and/or submit current progress report.  Transfer students will be given an admission assessment test and will need to submit a letter of recommendation and progress report upon enrollment. Elementary students must be enrolled as a full time student.

ENROLLMENT FORMS

All necessary application forms, including complete immunization and doctor’s report, must be turned in before the first day of school.  The enrollment packet is given to the parent upon registration.

SCHOOL VISIT

Prior to the student's start date, a visitation is recommended to ease the transition. Once all enrollment forms are submitted, a 30-minute classroom visit may be necessary to introduce the student to his or her peers and teachers.
